Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly), is a rap artist who has a unique style. Baker was born the 22nd of April, 1991 in Houston Texas U.S. into a family that was of English Scottish and German descent. His early years were filled with adventure. Baker traveled extensively with both his missionary parents. The father James Colson Baker struggled with depression and joblessness while the mother Sonia Alane left them when he was nine. Baker's father emigrated along with him to Denver and they lived at the home of his aunt. Others in the community were bullies Baker for being poor. His first exposure to hip-hop was as he began sixth the sixth grade. Colson Kelly Baker was born on 22 April, 1990 in Texas, United States. With his music, he is well known for blending hip-hop trends of the present with rock. Prior to making the move to Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes from 2007 to 2010. In the midst of delivering lyrics at the speed of a train, this Cleveland rapper experienced a meteoric rise in late 2011 when he made the transition from cranking out self-released mixtapes, to signing on reputable label. In the following years, every single album of his came in at #10 on the chart.
