Kim Delaney (born Kim Delaney) is an American actor best recognized for her role as detective Diane Russell in ABCs NYPD Blue and for which she was awarded an Emmy Award. Also, she has appeared in shows like All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives and CSI: Miami. Born as the only daughter of a high-ranking executive in the United Auto Workers and a housewife, Delaney was raised with four brothers. While she had a childhood dream of becoming journalist, it wasn't until the time of her high school days when Delaney started modeling. When she moved from New York City and gaining experience as a commercial model in New York did she achieve an aspiring career as court reporters. Delaney was portrayed as a child's innocence in the soap-opera All My Children. Delaney is an acclaimed actor who has appeared featured in a variety of TV movies, and dramas. In contrast to her career success, her personal life is not successful and happy. This actress who's talented and stunning, has had to battle drinking before. The marriages she has had been unsuccessful twice. She lost custody of her son in 2005.
