Kelly Michelle Stables is a St. Louis Missouri native who was a part of The Muny Opera. She graduated cum laude from The University of Missouri Columbia with a Bachelors degree in Communication and theater. She began her career as a performer in Los Angeles as a theater artist. She choreographed and performed in over 20 plays and musicals. The most notable of these were The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan and The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera's The Musical Peter Pan. Additionally, she performed 7 titles at Los Angeles' Storybook Theatre. Kelly began to land the roles for films and TV when she was studying improvisations with The Groundlings. Kelly's distinct voice and diminutive size have enabled her to portray a range of different roles. Her most well-known role is her work as a co-star with Naomi Watts taking over the part of the villainous Samara in The Ring 2 but is popularly known for her role as the bright and bubbly receptionist of Two and a Half Men. Kelly played the role of the paralegal as well as a party animal in TV the show Land's The Exes in the role of a series regular between the years of 2011 and. In addition, Kelly played the sassy sister of Alyssa in ABC's Romantically Challenged. On the CW's No Tomorrow she portrayed the stressed suburban mom. Her fame is based on her soprano vocals in many animations. They include the cult show Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Recently, she appeared in NBC's smash comedy Superstore as the sluggish, but adorable Cloud 9 worker. Her private life is one that's quite quiet with her two sons under the age of five. She loves to sew and writes and is a volunteer in various school activities.
